Install the app
The Busy Tag app manages your device: designs, LED colours, focus sessions, integrations and firmware updates. It is free and available on four platforms.

Store or direct installer?
On Windows and macOS you can choose between the store version and the direct installer from busytag.com. Both have the same features. The differences:
- Store versions update themselves automatically through the store.
- Direct installers check for new versions themselves. Settings → App info shows the current and newest version and can download the new installer to your Downloads folder.
- macOS: the Mac App Store version is sandboxed, so firmware uploads over USB are slower. If a firmware update gives you trouble, install the direct version from busytag.com/software.
Older versions
Installers of earlier Windows and macOS versions are kept in the download archive. See the release notes for what changed.
Languages
The app is available in English, Latvian, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Portuguese, Italian, Estonian and Lithuanian. Change the language under Settings → App Language. Some translations are AI-generated and may contain inaccuracies.
